Deborah Daniel, EP

Deborah is a highly respected and sought after Environmental Professional with over 30 years of experience providing critical environmental assessment information to some of the largest and most active investment banks, private hedge funds, and insurance companies in the United States.

Deborah was first employed with ATEC Associates, Inc. (later ATC Associates, Inc., and currently Atlas Technical Consultants, Inc.) as a Staff Scientist for the first two years of her professional career. She furthered her field experience with EMG, and transitioned to technical review and management consulting during her tenure at EMG. At a client’s request in 1998, she returned to ATC Associates, Inc. to work as a Director in the National Programs Real Estate Group. In her nearly 10 year role as Director, she established a company presence for environmental due diligence in securitized lending, working with investment banks, rating agencies, and secondary investors on behalf of her clients. 

In 2007, she transitioned to a small business environmental firm and continued to provide senior environmental consulting and contract management to her long-standing investment bank and hedge fund clients.

Deborah and her business partner Heather Ridgway subsequently founded Environmental Professional Partners, LLC in July of 2012, which specializes in real estate due diligence contract management, technical review of environmental reports, customized research and opinion documents, and assistance in understanding the application of environmental findings to the client’s business deal. She manages all aspects of environmental and engineering due diligence for lenders buyers, sellers, and investors in real estate transactions that might be undertaken for acquisition, disposition, equity investment, redevelopment, refinance, or foreclosure.

Deborah is an Environmental Professional, as defined by ASTM Standard Practice E- 1527. She has a B.S. in Environmental Science from Mary Washington College (now University of Mary Washington), she is co-owner and Chief Executive Officer of Environmental Professional Partners, LLC.
