Heather Ridgway, EP

Heather has nearly 30 years of experience providing public and private sector real estate decision-makers with crucial commercial real estate environmental assessment information.  During the early part of her career, Heather worked for a National environmental consulting and engineering firm, where she became the branch manager of the Pittsburgh, PA office and was eventually promoted into their National Programs Group.  As part of this group, she frequently managed large, multi-discipline projects for high-profile clients.

Throughout her career, Heather has spearheaded transactions that included hundreds of properties across the United States, Mexico, and Canada, many within time-sensitive due diligence periods.  Typical environmental due diligence information provided to clients includes: identifying recognized environmental conditions and their associated follow-up actions and liability cost estimates; risk analysis for environmental issues such as spills, hazardous material use/misuse, dumping, historical or current property uses, asbestos, lead-based paint, water intrusion/mold, and radon.

In 2012 Ms. Ridgway, along with her business partner Deborah Daniel, started Environmental Professional Partners, LLC (EP Partners) to provide environmental guidance and risk assessment in terms their clients can clearly understand.

EP Partners functions as their client’s own in-house Environmental Professional providing clear and concise evaluation of environmental risks derived from standard real estate environmental reports. For the past decade, EP Partners’ services have been used by hundreds of clients with many of their early clients still using their expertise and service today.  At the core, EP Partners’ commitment to provide clear, meaningful environmental consulting has truly fit a need in the industry.  Heather is an Environmental Professional, as defined by ASTM Standard Practice E-1527. She has been a member of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) on both a national and local level.   She has served on CREW Network and CREW Atlanta committees, was a member of the CREW Atlanta Board of Directors, and is a graduate of the CREW Atlanta Leadership program.  She has spoken at and served on panels for both real estate and national environmental industry events.
